Our story began in 2013 in a small business mastermind in New York and has led us to San Francisco, Hawaii, Greece and now to Guatemala - where you'll join us!
From January 16 - 20, 2020, in the heart of the Mayan world, we’re hosting a group of women to dream big, plan from our hearts, connect with each other, and kick off the new decade together.
Now more than ever, it’s time to step into the role of conscious business leadership. It’s time to leave behind the cookie cutter methods of running your business and let your intuition guide you to exactly where you need to go. To embrace your gifts and your unique way of doing the work you are meant to do.
This retreat is the place to take stock of your life, your spiritual practice, and your business. It’s a place to make amazing and deep connections and discover new perspectives. We’ll mastermind, workshop, and dive into the heart of each of our businesses. We’ll also explore our spirituality and learn from Mayan wisdom. And of course, we'll eat amazing meals together, move our bodies daily, enjoy the natural beauty and sunshine of Lake Atitlan, and go on exciting excursions.
As two gals who live out the "go with your gut" mantra and love to travel in the most epic ways, we are so excited to lead this retreat together. It will be a truly magical experience.
Below are all of the retreat details and registration information. Over the next two weeks, we’ll be revealing even more and of course, we'll be sharing all of the fun behind-the-scenes and the planning process on IG @robynyoukilis!
We can't wait to share this beautiful experience with you.

Whether you are in a training program and haven't yet launched your business, or you’re 10 years in and run a team, you will love this retreat and it will support you in your next needed steps. The majority of women in our community work in the coaching or wellness industry, though the principles we teach apply to every field and we welcome folks from all backgrounds.
This retreat is a mix of business, spirituality, and fun!
We’ll do year-ahead planning and get clear on what we want to focus on for 2020 (and what we want to let go of or add to the “for later” list). You’ll have a chance to look at the holistic view of your business (revenue, team, impact, programs and offerings) and evaluate what is working and where you want to go. We’ll get technical (numbers, launches, programs etc.) and really focus on how to let your intuition guide your business. You’ll not only walk away with a clear and executable map for 2020, but also practical moment-to-moment tools for connecting to your intuition and deeper wisdom in your business and life.
Being in Guatemala, you feel the power of spirit everywhere - both the spirit of the land and the spirit of the people. During the retreat, each woman will receive a Mayan horoscope reading from a Mayan spiritual guide to better understand your unique gifts and how to bring them into your business. We’ll learn about the sacred Mayan calendar and how to use it as a tool for running your business and life. Additionally, both of us are trained Universal Health Principles practitioners and will be weaving this healing modality in throughout the retreat.
The magic often happens in those in-between moments. An ‘ah ha’ during a yoga class, a spark during a heart-to-heart while walking around, a connection during a meal. This retreat will be full of those magical moments. Each day, we’ll enjoy three delicious meals together, have plenty of time for connection (and alone time), daily movement practice, meditation, field trips and excursions, and lots of nature! We’ll wake up and go to bed to the sounds of nature and spend our days workshopping and eating with the gorgeous views of Lake Atitlan. Plus, we’ll have plenty of time to soak in the peace and sunshine.
I (Robyn) have felt a pull to visit Guatemala for over 2 years, and Jess has a deep connection to this country and it's people after spending 4 months there in 2019. However, the true answer is - Guatemala picked us. We've been working together in unique ways for the last 6 years, and this retreat and the location will bring together our deepest gifts for all of our participants.
We’ll be retreating at Lake Atitlan, in the Highlands of Guatemala. Lake Atitlan is the deepest lake in Central America and surrounded by 3 volcanoes. The lake basin is volcanic in origin, filling an enormous caldera formed by an eruption 84,000 years ago! There is a powerful natural force that you can feel at the lake. Lake Atitlán is renowned as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, often compared to Lake Como, Italy.
There are several villages and towns around the lake, each with their own unique feeling. Many of the locals who live in these villages still wear traditional Mayan dress and speak local Mayan languages. We’ll explore several of the villages during the retreat by boat to really experience the spirit of Lake Atitlan.
We’ll gather at the gorgeous Isla Verde Atitlan, an eco-chic boutique hotel in Santa Cruz la Laguna village on Lake Atitlan. Isla Verde is a lakefront retreat center that has the perfect balance of feeling immersed in nature and having a high quality comfortable stay. We’ll enjoy views of the lake all day long - in our rooms, at the dining area, and in our large group meeting spaces. Isla Verde has a gorgeous sundeck, a beautiful palm roof yoga sala and indoor yoga studio, as well as a wood fired hot tub and sauna. There are plenty of spaces to relax or be active as the Center is connected to a great hiking trail. We’ll start each day with a delicious healthy breakfast and end the day enjoying conversation and connection at our lakeside nightly group dinners prepared onsite with local, fresh ingredients.
My entrepreneurial journey started earlier than most - at the age of 22! For the last 8 years, I’ve worked behind the scenes with top industry leaders in the online marketing world. Through my platform, Say Yes With Jess, I've helped launch a mastermind group, a wellness certification program and have planned over 20 retreats from NYC to Tuscany and Hawaii. I've also planned and executed several live events for 150 people, run high level business strategy sessions, and launched countless online courses. For the last 2 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Robyn and Team Your Healthiest You on implementing new business systems and foundations, launch strategy, and year ahead planning.
After living in NYC for 7 years, last summer, I traded in my city life for a backpack and now am a full time digital nomad. In January 2019, I came to Guatemala for a week-long retreat and I ended up staying for 4 months, exploring this beautiful country and studying with local spiritual guides. This country holds a special place in my heart and has opened up so much in my life and my spirit.

Guatemala City airport (GUA)
Please arrive to Guatemala City airport (GUA) by January 15th. Our retreat begins at noon on January 16th. You can stay in Guatemala City or Antigua the night of the 15th and head to Lake Atitlan the morning of the 16th. There are taxis and shuttles available at the airport and you can also order an Uber. Please contact Jess if you have any questions about flights, transportation or where to stay when you arrive.
Lake Atitlan is approximately 2 hours from Antigua and 3 hours from Guatemala City. You can take an Uber, private taxi, or shared shuttle from either city to Panajachel, the Lake’s entry town. Once you arrive in Panajachel, you will be dropped off at the Tzanjuyú dock at the end of Calle del Embarcadero, where all of the boats leave for San Pedro, San Marcos and Santa Cruz. The boats leave every 30 minutes. The ride to Isla Verde will take around 20 minutes and costs 15Q (approx $2 USD). When you board the boat, please tell your driver that you are going to Isla Verde and they will drop you off directly at the dock of the hotel.
